Oatmeal Bliss

Oatmeal! Great breakfast choice.  I like to use raw nuts, fresh fruit, raisins, and raw unfiltered honey to make my oatmeal more filling and delicious.  I've also discovered that oatmeal with eggs combined makes a really powerfilled breakfast and can hold you up to 3.5 hours.  Try it for yourself!

You've probably heard it a million times but I'm going to say it again... The best thing you can do is make your home a safe zone.  Here you get a look into my fridge.  I live for fresh produce and 1 ingredient foods.

When I began on my journey to a healthier me, I kept it so simple.  Don't get boggled down with all kinds of fancy machinery; use what you have.  Here I created a refreshing fruit blend by just peeling and cutting up a few simple fruit. Pictured here are apples, kiwi, and blackberries.  Go ahead, just get started.

(Organic Peanut Butter, Banana, Raw Sunflower Seeds)

Hot Sauce on a Salad???

A fresh salad with raw mushrooms.  I personally don't use salad dressings.  When I initially changed my eating, I would use olive oil, oreagano, and vinegar for a dressing but I'm now okay with raw and undressed salads.  If I do want a little something, I use hot sauce which has 0 calories and which I have always loved to spice up my food.

How I Gave My Leftovers a Makeover

Potato salad is one of my favorite Thanksgiving Day dishes.  Being away from home sometimes calls for you to make consessions.  So I found myself eating more bread than I would normally eat but I also found ways to keep it balanced. Needless to say, it pays to always take some staple items with you; those would be my raw sunflower seeds and the avocado.  This was how I incorporated my beloved potato salad into my breakfast.
